何红蓓:放松之后的风景

最初看到何红蓓的《书信》系列作品,我惊异她的才华和情感,对女性的生存处境和艺术结合如此巧妙,看到了她作品中的诗意和光亮。而看完她的《倒掉垃圾---放松》和《风景》系列作品,对她的艺术历程和心灵历程,有了较为完整的了解。在我看来:她超越了现实和作品本身,解构和打碎了过往,重组了一个更为本真的自我和艺术空间。
何红蓓的《倒掉垃圾---放松》系列作品是通过女性的身体状态现相,来表达年轻女性内心的困惑、矛盾和挣扎,袒露的是洁白无瑕的身体,现相的是精神层面与社会现实冲突、苦闷和抗争。这近乎完美的面孔上被一层白色的面具掩盖,其下层的面孔被隐藏起来,这张脸像自画像,又像是当代所有女性的一个缩影,超现实主义地表现女性美的背后的压力和无奈;眼神的迷离,源自对情感、时间和生存空间的不平衡和不平静以及不满足的欲望,这些图式语言看似纸粘的,却有着铜墙铁壁难于深入,存于现实和传统,又将面临现代和时尚的侵入。身体的显现只是辅体,头脑才是图式表达的主题,精神看似虚无,却以具象的种种生活工具、昆虫、药片、绳子、纸牌,挤压女人的身心和不安的灵魂。这种复杂的情绪,几乎让女性痛不欲生,甚至生不如死。“倒掉垃圾---放松”是女性对现代社会困境和混乱的一种呐喊,是刺破夜空的一颗流星。这种图式的视觉就是三维空间的符号,也是艺术家重新审视当代社会和女性的关系,其思考、思想是前卫和超越现实的。她的痛疼因为观念的升华而放松了,找到了生命的通道,与之抗争,最终得以解脱,重回生命的静穆与安宁,情绪的印染,较为真实地呈现了自我表现与社会表现的程度。
何红蓓是当代艺术很有代表性的画家,她的作品在内容和技巧上,有着鲜明的个人风格,她传承了四川美院画风,又注入了西方当代艺术元素,构图新颖,极重写实,也重观念,在人物形态和风景透视上达到了很高水平。尤其是《风景》系列作品,较完整地呈现了她艺术风格,更典雅、抒情、唯美,是人生境界的回忆。通过对风景不同节令的描绘,加上河流、鲜花、丛林、天空等具体物象,实现了对自然、美和爱的统一。温柔和清丽的色彩,加上水面上一层梦幻般的倒影,体现了她极深的功力,鲜花和磐石相依,美和爱同在。她歌颂自然,强调的却是情感,因为风景就是人的化身。每一幅风景既逼真又梦幻,使生命和艺术焕发出新的光彩,这是艺术家自我或者更多的女性,走出自我困境和缠绕之后的喜悦,是倒掉垃圾放松之后深入的新境界,既保持了一些风格,又抛弃了枷锁和负担,寻找了归程和原色,是艺术家对世界和未来的希望和信念的坚持。可以这样说:何红蓓放松之后的风景,既是她艺术的转变,也是她人生的转变。

When first seeing Ms. He Hongbei's "Painted Letters" series oil paintings, I was surprised by her talent and emotion, at her clever combination of art and the living situation of women, and I view her works as poetry and light. After watching her "Dumping garbage-relax" and "Landscape" series, I have a more complete understanding of her artistic career and spiritual history. In my opinion, she went beyond the reality and the artwork itself, deconstructed and shattered the past, and restructured a truer self and art space.
He Hongbei's "Dumping garbage-relax" series of artworks used women's physical body to express the confusion, contradictions and struggles of young women inside, snow-white body bared to represent the spiritual dimension of social reality conflict, depression, and struggle. The near-perfect face is covered with white masks to hide the lower part, is like a self-portrait, and is like a microcosm of all contemporary women, with surrealism rendering the female beauty behind their pressure and helpless, their eyes blurred from the imbalance of emotion, time, living space and inner peace and unsatisfied desires, seemingly fragile as paper, yet hard like a wall of steel to get through, existed in the reality and tradition, and facing the intrusion of modern and style. The body is only auxiliary subject, and the mind is the main schema. The spirit seems empty, with tools, insects, pills, rope and playing cards to squeeze a woman's body, mind and restless soul. The complex emotion makes women to suffer deep sorrow, or even living death. "Dumping garbage-relax" represents the women of modern social dilemma and confusion, a cry piercing the night sky like a meteor. With the schema visual symbolizing a three-dimensional space, the artist re-examined the relationship between contemporary society and women, and displayed a thought and idea that is avant-garde and beyond reality. Women's pains are relaxed because sublimation has happened, and a channel of life is found, and women fight back, and eventually are able to escape and return to the solemn, quietness and tranquility of life, their mood is printed to truly present a degree of self-expression and social performance.
He Hongbei is very representative of contemporary art painter, her work bearing a distinctive personal style on the content and skills. She inherited the painting style of Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts, and incorporated Western contemporary art elements. The result is the novel composition and heavy realism, and also gives weight to the concept of character form, with landscape perspective also reaching a very high level. The "Landscape" series is a more complete showing of her artistic style: elegant, lyrical, beautiful, and of memories of the realm of life, depicting the different seasons of the landscape, with rivers, flowers, jungle, sky, the unity of nature, beauty and love. Gentle and elegant colors, and the water's layered dreamy reflection, all reflect her deep skill. Flowers stand by the rock, beauty lives with love. Portraying the beauty of nature, the artist actually emphasized human emotions, because the scenery is the embodiment of people. Per a landscape realistic and dreamy, life and art shine with new luster. The artist herself or more women come out of the predicament and wound, after the joy of garbage dumped and mind relaxed, to have reached a new realm, both to maintain some style, and to abandon the yoke and burden of looking for a return journey and colors. The artist persists on the hope and beliefs on the world and the future. We can say this: after relaxation, He Hongbei reached beautiful landscape, and both her art and life will change for better.
